Ingredients:

Almonds contain 18-20% protein, 54-56% fat, with a high content of poly unsaturated fatty acids, approx. 18% carbohydrates and fibre and a fair amount of carotenes. They also contain potassium, calcium, magnesium and also iron, phosphor, sulphur and phyto-estrogens.

Almonds supply energy, are good for your eyes and for female reproductive organs. Actually you could call almonds the "fruit for women", which does not imply that men are not allowed to enjoy it too. But the saying "almonds for women" has its reasons: It's an excellent source of energy for pregnant women, women who just gave birth and nursing mothers. In Mediterranean countries it is said that the phyto-hormones in almonds can help with toning the uterus after birth

Almonds are good when mentally and physically drained, when nervous and after or in between competitions for athletes. It helps with infections of the throat, supports air passages (chronic cough) and digestive system as well as the urinary tract. It is also a good remedy against neurological pain.

Cashews and almonds contain high amounts of protease inhibitors, which have shown good results in the treatment of cancer in animals. That's why medical experts like Dr. Walter Troll from the University of New York put nuts on top of the list of cancer inhibiting substances. Dr. Troll is of the opinion that they hinder the spreading of various types of cancer in humans. Nuts contain polyphenoles and chemical substances that have shown good results in fighting cancer in animals.
