The story behind Black Bear
Enthusiastically they started their search for vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds with the goal to
find and gather only the best the world has to offer.They even travelled to Peru (altitudes of up to 4,000 metres) to make sure that the entire process of planting, harvesting and processing of the maca root is done according to their highest standards. The maca root has been used for hundreds of years because of its medical benefits and nutritious content.
The two friends and pioneers visited cashew farms to find cashews that were hulled by hand instead of
the common practice of using acids.
The most nutritious fruits proofed to be cherries and cranberries that were grown and harvested organically, carefully selected and gently dried.
This is the story of how the two friends magically composed a unique energy bar with only 100% organic ingredients. Doing so they followed their heart and vision and created a masterpiece that reflects their love for mankind and nature.
